Meet Kelly

Hi I am Kelly; the heart behind the bake. It all began with a love for Holiday baking with my family; my sister, mom and I would fill the house with the decadent scents of holiday treats as Dad hung the Christmas lights. After high school, I attended a culinary program where I obtained a degree in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Manangemt. Soon after I secured a kitchen position within a large chain restaurant, which led me to understand further that, that wasn’t where I was meant to be. After returning to school and obtaining a creative degree in merchandising, a masters in Marketing and countless hours self teaching through trial and error in the kitchen, I opened The Krusty Crumb in 2020. I have been professionally baking for over 10 years and personally for my entire life. In 2023, I created and developed the Sweet Devotions brand, a line within my bake shop that focuses on the same great quality and taste but filled with God’s Love. My goal is to utilize my God given gift of baking, my love for Jesus, along side my passion for helping others and bring to the community fulfilled hearts, bodies and souls through scripture and scrumptious desserts.

I am a local mom of two beautiful babies whom are the greatest gifts ever received. I also teach baking classes to young children through local school district partnerships. I am not here to portray perfection, I am here to be a beacon of light and share my story, while helping you write yours through customized desserts. Whatever it is, however it is, the way you tell your story can make all the difference and be the cornerstone for the memories you’ll make for a life time,

So, invite me in and let me be the creative mind and beacon of light behind your next event.
